Untitled [from series Noema]
About the Noema series: Noema explores the image not as a fixed form, but as a performed event – the space where perception and technology converge. Derived from the Greek for “thought” or “concept”, the term in Husserl's philosophy names the lived content of consciousness. Here, it becomes a lens for rethinking the digital image: not simply what is shown, but how mind and machine co-create its presence. The works emerge as constellations of lights and gestures. They can be read as a visualization of firing neurons, out of which subconscious associations spark – imprecise but emotionally charged. They carry the ambiguity of memory and sensation – at once deeply personal and universally resonant, recalling cultural fragments, fleeting impressions, and cosmic visions. Noema asks what an image becomes when it is both perception and process, both record and act: a dynamic field where artist, viewer, and thought perform meaning together. Details: Responsive algorithmic animation, JavaScript (WebGL, Three.js), 2025, variable resolution
