RUMI RAYMI
The Stone Dance (RUMI RAYMI), in SURI Dimension, where Huacas from the Mollar and Tafí del Valle areas, in Tucumán, Argentina, float in limbo alongside Yukk, protectors, gatherers, and mystical fragments. Real nature, obtained from photogrammetry scans of fragments from my adventures in the deep Yungas of Tucumán and Jujuy, collapses with the limbo, where the archaeological finds here are activated with magic. The intermediate, transitory, and spiritual spaces suggest a special understanding of the balance and transition between states of existence. A space where rocks that once held sacred or signaling meanings are activated through dances and rituals with magical operations. This exploration seeks to demonstrate the value of pixel art in the preservation and dissemination of the visual and contextual heritage of the NOA (Northwest Argentina).
