雨はただ降るのではなく、世界の見え方を描き直している。 本作では、雨を「描く主体」として捉え、視界を描き換える存在として表現する。 一般に、風景を描く主体は、形を与え、輪郭を生み出す力を持つ。 雨もまた、木を育て、風景に輪郭を与えることで、世界を描いている。 しかし雨はそれだけにとどまらない。 降り注ぐ雨は、光を屈折させ、像を乱し、色や形を絶えず揺るがす。 雨は、描いた風景そのものを、同時に描き変え続ける存在でもある。 本作は、雨が「風景を描く力」と「風景を描き変える力」を併せ持つ、特異な描く主体であることを、視界の生成と崩れとしてドットを用いて可視化する試みである。 空に近い場所に位置するMIYASHITA PARKにおいて、天気が都市の表面に静かに描き、そして描き換え続けていることへ、あらためて気づきを促す。 Rain does not simply fall; it continually redraws how the world is seen. In this work, rain is approached as a drawing subject—an agent that creates and rewrites vision. Typically, a drawing subject gives form to a landscape, generating contours and structure. Rain, too, draws the world in this sense: by nurturing trees and shaping the outlines of the environment. Yet rain does not stop there. As it falls, it refracts light, disrupts images, and continuously unsettles color and form. Rain is a subject that redraws the very landscape it has brought into being. This work visualizes rain as a singular drawing subject—one that holds both the power to compose a landscape and the power to transform it—by rendering the generation and collapse of vision through dots. Situated in MIYASHITA PARK, a site suspended close to the sky, the work invites renewed awareness of weather quietly drawing, and redrawing, the surface of the city.
