Claustrophobia

Tonya Kim

Claustrophobia reflects the experience of being inside Shibuya’s constant flow of screens, signage and urban signals. The city becomes a dense system of visual information where faces, symbols and fragments overlap until perception compresses. The figure remains suspended within this overload, not separated from the city but embedded in its structure. Claustrophobia becomes a condition of total immersion in Tokyo’s continuous visual noise.
